The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra is a National award-winning, all-volunteer performingarts group dedicated to bringing the joy of great music to everyone! The Orchestra has receivednumerous honors since its formation in 2002 and is consistently recognized as one of the top tencommunity orchestras in the nation. Most recently, the Orchestra received 3rd Place in theCommunity Division of the American Prize in Orchestral Performance. Our reputation for musicalexcellence is renowned, and we are proud of the legacy of our program.
The Orchestra’s all-volunteer, talented musicians rehearse weekly and perform 9 FREE concertsthroughout Williamson County each year, including a holiday concert at Fort Cavazos for ourservicemen and servicewomen. Our concerts are very well attended and greatly contribute to thewell-being of the Williamson County community.
The non-profit Orchestra is currently supported solely by individuals across the Williamson Countyarea, local cities, and the state of Texas. It is also vital for us to have the support of local businessesso that we may continue our level of excellence.
